About Us
General:
Our foreign language service (Hoda-Foreign Language Service) has existed since 1996 and was first founded by Mr. Shpejtim Hoda in Bitterfeld (Saxony-Anhalt) and later expanded to Leipzig (Saxony). The network of interpreters and translators he created has always worked with full motivation, the highest level of competence and reliability for the authorities, courts, notaries, public prosecutors, customs and police as well as for private individuals on various official and private matters. We are happy about our from Mr. Sh. Hoda created reputation with the clients. Since 2016, our company has been represented by his son, Mr. Mirlind S. Hoda (supported by Mr. Sh. Hoda), and is mainly continued as a family business. He has adapted it to the temporal changes that this industry brings with it. When he took over the company, he founded two new branches under the name Fremdsprachendienst – Hoda & Partner, one in Leipzig and one in Halle (Saale), from where everything is managed. Mr Sh. Hoda developed quality and experience in the field of interpreting and translation is always cultivated and used and delivered to the full satisfaction of our clients. Our team currently consists of a good 14 permanent interpreters and translators, including for the languages Albanian, Arabic, Bosnian, Bulgarian, English, French, Georgian, Croatian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Montenegrin, Persian (Dari, Farsi), Polish, Romanian and Russian , Serbian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Turkish and Pashto as well as around 230 freelance partners.

On April 26, 2023, Mr. Shpejtim Hoda and Mr. Mirlind S. Hoda were generally sworn in by the President of the Higher Regional Court in Dresden as court interpreters under federal law (Court Interpreting Act - GDolmG) and as official interpreters and translators under state law (SächsDolmG). Mr Shpejtim Hoda is still the only sworn interpreter and translator in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt for the Montenegrin language and, above all, very much in demand.

Our Managing Director Mr. Mirlind S. Hoda (Leipzig Office Manager)
is a linguistically tested and state-approved interpreter and translator as well as a linguistic expert specializing in law and social sciences. Since our company has been increasingly commissioned by the Rhineland-Palatinate authorities in recent years, he was first sworn in as an interpreter for the Albanian language by the President of the Koblenz Higher Regional Court and authorized as a translator for the first time in 2017. Since then he has also been a competent contact person for the English language. Due to the great demand for good interpreters and translators, he was publicly appointed and sworn in by the Vice President of the Halle Regional Court for Albanian and English in 2021. As a native speaker of German and Albanian and through the specialist and culture-specific knowledge acquired during his long stay in the Balkans, especially in Albanian-speaking areas such as Albania, Kosovo, parts of Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia, he has also gained personal knowledge in recent years an extremely positive reputation among clients.
He achieved his special academic achievements at the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, and Universum College in Gjakova as well as other state institutions in Germany. He also studied law at the University of Leipzig.
Our office manager in Halle, Mr. Shpejtim Hoda,is also a language-tested and state-approved interpreter and translator as well as a linguistic expert specializing in law. He started his work professionally in 1996. He was first sworn in as an interpreter and linguistic expert for the Albanian language in general in 2000 by the Vice President of the Magdeburg Regional Court. Due to his many years of professional experience, he is very well respected by our clients. His other working languages have always included Bosnian, Croatian, Macedonian (Slavic-Macedonian), Montenegrin and Serbian (native speaker of Albanian and former Yugoslavian). Since it was also an option, he was generally sworn in as an interpreter for the Albanian language and authorized as a translator by the President of the Koblenz Higher Regional Court in 2019. Through continued good work, further studies and professional examinations, his swearing and authorization was extended to Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin and Serbian languages a year later. Ultimately, in 2022, due to the high demand for good interpreters and translators for rare languages, he was also publicly appointed and generally sworn in by the Vice President of the Halle Regional Court for Albanian, Bosnian, Croatian, (mainly) Montenegrin and Serbian. Macedonian (Slav-Macedonian) is still one of his working languages.
He has achieved his special academic achievements at the University "Hasan Prishtina" in Prishtina, University of Tirana, University of Leipzig and other state institutions in Germany.
Both also work as lecturers in German legal language.
